History just aired a half-hour compilation of CBS News' live
coverage of the moon landing in 1969. A couple of minutes was
devoted to Heywood Hale Broun reporting from Tomorrowland at
Disneyland, where the Disney folks had set up a big screen to
show visitors live coverage of the landing and moon walk. I
think they were probably near the Flight to the Moon ride;
I could see PeopleMovers gliding behind the crowd.

There's a little blurb about the event on Disney's website:

The show, called "Live from '69," will air again at 9:30 PDT.

I saw that program, too. It brought back some memories. I remember
being a child then and my parents made me sit and watch the broadcast.
