Must do's for a TNBC Fan in Disneyland Anaheim?

Hi,

I'm coming over to the USA for two weeks on Dec 19. As a fan of Tim Burton's
Nightmare before Christmas I will spend a day in Disneyland for sure. Any
must do's or must see's I may not miss? I know the Haunted Mansion as well
as the NBC Store. Is there more TNBC-stuff in the park? Any suggestion
appreciated.

Does anyone know the Alpine Inn Motel? How is it?

Thanks
Roland

How fun! A busy time of the year here, but fun. I hope you'll be
in some places that have fantastic Christmas decorations.

That's all I know of, but you might try asking over on
rec.arts.disney.parks; it has a lot more readers than this
group does.

Kitschy on the outside, I don't know about the inside. Although
it's one of the few motels actually within the city blocks that
contain the Disneyland Resort, it doesn't actually have convenient
access to the parks. You'll have to walk around the corner and
down Harbor to get to them. Allow about 15 minutes. I often stay
at the Candy Cane Inn, which is on Harbor, and it takes about 10
minutes from there; the Alpine is farther. (The CCI also has its
own free shuttle bus.)

Frankly, the Alpine is not one of the motels that I've heard folks
mention. You might want to check TripAdvisor.com to see what reports
are on that and other nearby motels. And the Disneyland website has
a list of "Good Neighbor Hotels" that can get you started in the
right direction.
