Can someone explain how this actually Works? According to the Disney web
site, "[p]ick up time: From 11:30 a.m. until one (1) hour prior to the first
World of Color showing on day of visit." Where does one sit down to eat the
picnic food and how does the seating for the event work? Is it open
seating, or are all the seats assigned? thanx

We did this a couple months ago. You go online and book your meal. Between
11:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., pick up your picnic meal. You will also be given
your seating ticket(s). You can eat your meal anywhere you like - we ate
ours on the curb near the Hyperion Theatre waiting to line up for Aladdin.
At least an hour before the show, go to the seating area and show one of the
CM's your ticket and they will instruct you where to line up. Now this
might be a little different - my DD was in a wheelchair and they let us in
to a roped off area reserved for wheelchairs. Once they start letting you
in to the seating area, you cop a squat on the ground and wait! There are
no seats - pretty much everyone sits on the ground until the show starts.

Hope that helps.

Michelle
