"Jazz Ernie" - Ernest McLean - Rock and Roll Legend now playing

Ernest McLean, better known as "Ernie", plays electric guitar inside the
Blue Bayou restaurant and at the entrance to the Court of Angeles - is a
legend of Rock and Roll. Picking up his first guitar at age 11 Ernie learned
chords on the small Gibson his father transitioned from banjo on, from his
father who worked days and played gigs at night. Ernie was in the Army, and
joined the band where he learned alto saxophone. Then he played with Fats
Domino on what many consider the first Rock and Roll album ever - "They Call
Me the Fat Man". He played with Dave Bartholomew Band, Mac "Dr. John"
Rebennack, Little Richard, and many more in gospel, R&B, soul, Doo-Wop, Jazz
and Dixieland styles.
He is the last Disneyland cast member hired personally by Walt Disney.
