Does anyone know the current status of the third gate? I haven't heard
anything in a few years.

anything in a few years.

It's on indefinate hold, they don't even have a direction yet for
what they are doing with it.

Let them get their second gate (DCA) up to snuff and making money,
and the new hotels at GardenWalk. And thjey also have a total remodel
of the DLH on their schedule...

They bought the land from the Fujishige family when it finally
became available, and the only signs of activity were protecting the
"Resort District" zoning for the lots immediately around the land.
(SunWest and the condo project they wanted to put in.)

If Disney and Anaheim breaks the zoning buffer and allows
Residential buildings right on the property line they will have noise
and emissions and other complaint problems forever.

What's the story on those hotels? I managed to find a couple of
old articles in the OC Register and LA Times speculating that
Disney might run (but not build) a couple of hotels there, but
I couldn't find anything recent.
