Looking For Ari Silverstein

I was hoping not to bring this to the inner workings of this
newsgroup, but since Bonham sent me the following private e-mail, but
with a phony return e-mail address, I seem to have no choice. What I,
and others, now need to find is at the very least the real e-mail
address for Ari Silverstein, or better yet, his actual mailing
address. If anyone can supply such information, you can naturally do
so privately at ***@sprynet.com.

What follows is Ari's private e-mail to me, and below that, my
response back to him. Unfortunately, that response has simply gone to
a bogus e-mail address that he has associated with his dialogue and
apparently with all his posts/threads. Likewise, I am well aware that
there are some out there who feel that I am getting what I deserve
anyway. Yet, this is going far beyond simple opinions and
disagreements, even when communicated with flowerily language and
creative expressions. However, Bonham has chosen to take this to a
very personal vendetta level with the intent to destroy, and now
needs to be deal with, not only privately, but at a level far beyond
this or any other newsgroup.

Well John, I have watched you post for many months here and your
only purpose seems to be insulting other travel agents, breaking
the charter as often as possible with no remorse, and pandering for
customers while displaying a stunning lack of knowledge of the
cruise industry. Enough said dude. Your a terrible travel agent and
any one who books with you deserves what they get. By the way, you
have been in my kill file for awhile now. I just refreshed the
newsgroup and caught your ignorant retort. Agreeing with the
biggest lunatic troll on the group "Chrissy Cruiser" makes you look
even more foolish than you already did. And that is a feat of near
impossibility. I have passed the name of your so called agency
around to the many cruise groups I belong to and have asked them to
spread the word that you are an unqualified agency that has no
business in the cruise industry. Hopefully no one I know will get
stung by you incompetence.

If I made any so called "nasty" comments about you personally,
believe me, it was only in response to those you chose to make about
me and my agency first. The same actually holds true for a few others
as well; for most of my correspondence within this newsgroup is
either press releases or adding what I can to personal inquiries. In
addition, I obviously can't break Charter rules when they seem to be
nothing more than an exercise in double-standards.

In reality, the very first time I even saw your name was when you
immediately chose to align yourself with those who make it a habit of
maligning others, and you quickly followed suit against me
personally.

In addition, your personal decision to now pass my name and agency
around to the many cruise groups; that I am an unqualified an
incompetent agent that has no business in the cruise industry, was a
very poor choice indeed, and now one that has crossed the lines of
harassment. Your conscious decision to purposely try to undermine and
jeopardize a 20+ year business, and all without even bothering to
check my online credentials, will now be dealt as such.

Said before, but obviously need repeating. The hypocrites of the
high-seas are quite predictable now. Unfortunately, being insulted by

As for Leppla's so-called Frank Lanyard threat incidents, even though
it has apparently been around 10 years ago, others are trying to find
that old information for me as we speak. However, even as they said,
they also know Leppla would just say they are forged or produces by
me in an effort to made him look bad.

From my understanding, it appears George was jealous of Fred because
he was so well-liked and respected. Seemingly, when Fred started
dabbling in the TA business, Leppla started to give him a bad time,
like he has to me and a few others ... in fact, from my
understanding, what he is trying to do me is almost exactly like he
did with Fred. All I can say about that is, at least I am in good

with them telling us all why. Yet, all this off-target dialogue has
been brought up before; signature lines are indeed acceptable by
Charter rules, and are not considered advertising per se. The
interpretation, and apparent double-standard, is with those who feel
Goldenberg's and Leppla's signature lines are perfectly acceptable,
while mine is obviously spamming and advertising. Yet, I simply
followed the same exact format of Ray's, so there would be no
problem. Go figure!

Likewise, don't give me credit for what one called the ruining of
this newsgroup; for changes have apparently been taking place long
before I even surfaced. I'm obviously just an convenient excuse for
what's really going on. Besides, I don't think it's ruined at all,
just restructured with more relevant information; while the social
butterflies realize that this was not their own private social
clique.

And just for your information, sometime ago I did drop my signature
line altogether. This was also at the encouragement of others on this
newsgroup, and to hopefully start a precedence for others to follow
as well. The bottom line is, it didn't work, with both Goldenberg and
Leppla being the biggest hold-outs. And just as bad, the personal
insults, name calling, sarcasm, innuendos and speculations did not
even slow down one bit. So, there was obviously no point in me
continuing with that exercise in futility.

In addition, I also agree that personal responses should really be
through a private e-mail, but they seldom are. I think the reason
should be quite obvious. Some simply like to stir the pot and
seemingly show the newsgroup that they are still around.

As to the related value of press releases, who actually determines
that? The bottom line is, if a press release is of no interest to
you, then don't read it. While some information may be of no interest
to one, it may indeed be to another. Therefore, none of us should be
screening out what others have access to, based only on our personal
preferences.

And now we have Leppla, who mysteriously always seems to surface in
things like this, much as a moth would be to a flame. Yet, nothing
new is ever said, just the same old vengeance spread around where he
feels appropriate. As to Leppla's snide comment about veiled threats,
it's actually funny for him to be so quick to judge. What does he
think this original post is all about? And, of course, there is
always the Joystar matter, which is still being investigated.
Naturally, one had to chose their battle wisely, and to also make
sure there is really something there - plus the timing has to be
right as well.

I'm so glad you finally see Sisker for what he is. He prattles on and
on aimlessly and digs his own grave, then runs to "Mama" (someone in
his organization to whom he pays dues to belong) and complains that
he is being maligned...I hope that those people start reading rtc
and see what drivel he posts here. And I only see what is included
in other's posts. How can anyone trust someone who is so envious and
behaves so childishly? Maybe someone should call Joystar and tell
them to read his drivel here and google all his past posts. Would

I do know George Leppla, have used him as my travel agent many times
and have always been very satisfied with his service. Not once have I
been disappointed with any of the bookings that he has made for
me..I'm going on my 39th cruise in a few days and I can highly rate
his knowledge and expertise. I have used several different T/As, so I
speak from actual experience. He is very easy to deal with, looks out
for his clients' best interests and is most pleasant on the phone...A
far more different personality than Sisker, let me tell you.

Just yesterday, I, as well as probably all his other clients, got an
e-mail from George thanking us for our patronage this past year and
he told us that November was one of the best months that he has ever
had and that he had no need to advertise as referrals were coming in
from current customers and business was great....Score: Leppla

confirmation of who this actually came from. I guess he feels it is

And do you know if this "private e-mail" is for real? Sisker could
have made it up. I would not take Sisker's word for it.
Or someone else could have made it up and forged Bonham's name on it
and sent it to Sisker. We know there are troublemakers who do that.
And since Sisker can't trace the e-mail because it came with a phony
e-mail address, then isn't going to be able to prove that it came from
Silverstein, even if he actually did send it.
I have had my disagreements with Silverstein, but if I knew his's e-mail
address, which I don't, I sure would not snitch it out to Sisker, so
he can harass Silverstein. Sisker destroyed his own reputation with
his own words and actions, he needs no help from Silverstein in that
regard.
